It went pretty well, got lots of rest and relaxation time in..but I was also going a bit stir crazy by the end. The GF wasn't feeling too well Christmas week so she was mostly in TV time. Since I was at her place without my projects I tackled the honey-dos and then was left a bit empty handed...

We never ended up going up to CA. Her friend who she is getting the horses through couldn't figure out whether the port of entry would be open over the weekend. As far as I could find info you also have to give them 3 days notice or something beforehand too.

Sounds like the GF friend will be borrowing the GF's truck to go up soonish...though additional trips will have to be made because there's 15+ horses and the GF only has a 5 horse trailer. I told the GF if I end up going we can take my truck but just ask that she or her friend pay for the next oil change and tire rotation.

Honestly a little nervous for either of them to go since their trucks are a 96' and 02'... The GF's duramax runs great but it's a truck with 350k mi on it...but I don't know her friend at all so I wouldn't be comfortable lending my truck to her

why does it have to be tacoma specific? the process is the same for just about anything with rust. Don't over think it and stop allowing yourself to torture yourself with this.

Hoser down with FF, lay off the underbody wash till spring your Taco will survive. Flowers will bloom and you can get back on with the media blast, prime, paint once again then.

Have you considered professional help? Paxil is good for OCD. Or so I've been told. Personally I don't really mind counting the alphabet as I type but my dog leaves the room when I do it aloud.
