Has anyone else heard an odd noise or felt a stall like behavior if your truck rolls back while in drive? It's happened to me 3 times now. Most of the time I'm on a little tilt when this occurs. The first time it occurred, I was letting my buddy (w/1st gen. Tacoma) test drive the truck and it's done it to me twice. When I have my first service visit at the dealership, I will ask them about it.

is that the feeling you get when you stare at a car next to you at the light and they start to creep forward?

Now that I'm driving a truck, I haven't had many (maybe none) of these at a light. I'm not pass the "ouch, I'm using more gas in this pickup when I floor it" phase yet. In my Honda Civic, I didn't always have the horsepower to take someone at the light but I had the gas mileage to beat them. LOL.
