    Soooo
Anybody else wheel hard enough to do this? its visually obvious.. how did you get it back to almost normal?

Bed is a lil twisted (Frame slightly bent from bump stop maybe?).. circled corner is higher than left side. its even near the cab though. (front of bed is parallel with cab window)

Did you straighten it yourself or take it to a frame shop?

I was rear ended hard enough a long time ago that caused a twist like that. I took it back to the same shop a couple times until they got it right. I believe they pulled the bed off and then used a frame rack to pull it back into shape.

Probably not the cheapest solution but I’m still good 11 years later.

It bent the truck's frame, not the composite bed.

Understood. I'm not really asking "Whats bent" i'm asking for what tricks people did to fix it.

If its the frame, then a puller is really the only option.

I was rear ended in an accident, the bed was bent. It was either total it out or spend $$$ to have them pull it. I asked them to total it. That's MY experience, that I am 100% sure of.

Check your frame, if it's bent or pinched, your answer is a puller. If it's visually sound, it may just be the bed itself probably needs to be adjusted somehow.

Depends, did you find a bend? The more pictures you have the better. For example. If I show you a picture of my lopsided house and ask, what's wrong how do I fix, I may get 100 solutions but none of them realize that my house is sound but the land is deteriorating causing a slope from corrosion. No one will know because on the internet, were not there and we can only see what you show us.

I'm really trying to help, but you also need to help us to help you with more details. How it happened, is the frame bent, if it is can you show us where, if not maybe more angles of the bed.

i wasn't rear ended. it was caused from off roading.. no obvious visual bends in the frame. maybe hit a bump stop hard once or twice.. really looking for people who put there truck through its pace for advice. ones who have experience with this issue.

Check and make sure the corners are square. Loosen all the bed bolts and see if it moves at all, also check and make sure the bed mounts are broken. It doesn’t look like the sides moved because in the pic the gaps at the tail gate look good. If all that’s good, it’s a pretty good sign you twisted the frame.

yeah, that would be weird that the cab window is parallel with the bed though right?

I mean, doesnt really matter if you were off roading, got into an accident or shot your truck from a cannon, if the frame is bent it's bent. You cant fix a bent frame, at least so its structurally sound without a puller. Not sure what "experience" you are looking for.

It would depend on where the twist in the frame is. The cab is a solid box so it doesn’t twist up front as much as you get in the rear because the bed is open on top.

He was just hoping you'd say you wheeled really hard (i.e. bought it used without realizing the frame was bent) and had a quick and easy fix he could hash out in his driveway with a hammer and some spray paint.
