I'm sorry, but the bible's "prophecies" are so vague that they can be spun any which way, and that certainly doesn't constitute "proof" of anything in my eyes. I was raised in Catholic schools, so I've certainly had my share of exposure to the bible and christian theology, and it's all based entirely on taking a "leap of faith".

Did this poll evolve out of boredom or was it created to get a conclusive answer?

Vast majority says Lil 'O Both, so I mean no disrespect. Here goes.

    First you can't have both.
Creation is as stated, created by God....refer to Genesis 1.
Evolution came from a big mass that exploded then we evolved.

    Therefore simply either:
1)No God and evolution happened, or
    2)God created everything.

    One HUGE question:

Who created, or where did the "BIG MASS" come from??

Creationism doesn't only refer to the universe we live in, but the human species, as well.

    oooooo....thats the $1million question...lol

it could be the big bang/evolution...things evolved from single cells all the way to us..

or it could be that some omnipotent being created us on a planet w/ millions of years of history in the ground w/ a book and no explaination for the things that are

    Plant systems...
    the human body...
    the infinite vastness of state...
    ...just look around you.

I'm all for anyone having their own opinions, I just simply find it difficult to swallow that you think all of this, as complex as it is, came about from "nothing".

i voted for neither btw...there has been no proven explaination for how things are...but there are way too many holes in a book for me to believe it. i see it as more of a collection of tales/morales to try to steer people into doing the right thing. people should live their life to better where we are and other people. i dont need a book to try to tell me that.

See, that's my big problem with creationism. Rather than search for a real answer, based in fact, creationists decided that the simple answer is to state that this is all too complex to have happened randomly, and therefore a supreme being has done it all. Science be damned.
