Alright guys, ran up to NY over the weekend and hammered my driver side tire on a few grates on the Long Island Expressway and now have a shudder at low speed...

Current setup is 265/75/16R on stock wheels with 2" toytec spacers. I was gonna get under it and make sure all things are properly tightened up but wanted to see if anyone had any insight (ball joint, control arm or something else??) before I go on a wild goose chase.

Nope didn't send it, just a drainage grate every 10 ft so it got jostled pretty rough for quite a distance at about 60mph.
As for the shudder, it's not violent just a bit of a bounce feel in the wheel, that turns into a vibration as I come to a stop, only notice it a slow speed

 

What would one of these cases cost? Asking for a friend

Neighbor big rig mechanic came checked it out and took a ride, he's thinking it might be a tire issue. About to hit 10k miles so maybe I'll complete oil change and then take it down to the shop that put the tires on and swap the full size spare to a matching rim and check the damaged one for balance and trueness.

 

anyone know what the Imperial Crawler building is in Reston? I guess its next to the metro station

Swapping that tire out for a spare would be a good place to start. A nasty pothole or a missing grate is something that can easily break a belt internally and wouldn’t be immediately noticeable. I know because my wife aims for them, apparently.
