So in honor of Pat leaving because we're all ass holes you decided to start an argument. I like it

I've owned 4 4x4 Tacomas. A 1st gen that I sold because I was getting divorced, a second gen that I lost in said divorce, a second gen that my dad now owns, and my current 3rd gen.

Overall the 3rd gen is the best gen. :brianr:

I wonder what happened to Pat? He must have made a resolution of no more TW for 2020! He was looking at Jeeps before he left and was trying to get on with his local FD. Maybe he got the job and doesn't have any more time for TW.

There was an 85.5 that was a solid axle as well. Kind of like the 95.5 Tacoma.

And I believe the last years of solid axles were gusseted on top and bottom of the axle.

I can't wait to see you in a 4x4. We'll go back to Big John and see where that trail goes!

84-85 have same axles in the front. The 85 had available EFI, and the EFI came with a tad bit stronger W-Series transmission.

My first vehicle when I turned 16 was an '86 Yota. I believe it was the first year of IFS.

It’s gonna be fun! We will gather up and have a mod day at my uncles farm and can try to knock it out in one swoop lol. More hands the better haha we can spend the weekend up there if need be. He’s got a house with beds and he’s like never there lol. He’s a wealthy man lol. He’s always at his beach house. Idk why he even has the farm but I’m not complaining lol. We can put lifts and snorkels and whatever else anyone wants to install
