The bearing as a whole spins inside of the spindle after its pressed in? Should only be able to spin the inner race of bearing which seats onto the shaft of the hub. The whole actual bearing should not spin. If the whole bearing assembly spins inside the spindle, then the bearing could be incorrect or the spindle had been wallowed out? I think I may be understanding you wrong, I've never seen the whole bearing after being pressed in, spin inside the spindle. It's pressed in because it's tight af. In your pic, you see that circular seal around the edge on top of the seated bearing? If that seal was removed you would see just the bearing assembly and where it's pressed into that big whole in the spindle. That bearing race should not spin. Don't know how it would spin but I don't know everything man:D

If it hasnt been too long. Wait a few days or even a week and iron will wreak havoc on paint.

I meant even with Priority Mail (which is how I ship the strut kits) it can still take longer to go one state away than across the country. I think they fly it if it's across the country, but truck it if it's closer.

Looking forward to seeing your install!

Back when I did that concrete slab, I got a bunch of dust on my bodywork. I washed it as soon as I got home, that shit is corrosive.

You have the other one to compare it to? I haven't been in the Tacoma front end really, only for brakes. That said knuckles, spindles, hubs, etc from front end 4wd IFS systems are all fairly similar. I believe what you're spinning there should be firm and in place and not move. That's the outer beating race, at least what it's called in traditional standard bearings that get serviced, the inner bearing race should be seated firmly against the shaft of the hub after pressed together.

Yep, checked the other one and its solid. No movement. So this is a probable bearing issue or an issue with mounting?

worth noting, the entire hub doesn't turn as easily on this one - unlike the other. there is resistance with this one.

So you deliberately put grease in a MT housing where the pressure plate, flywheel and clutch disk combine to create friction which transfers torque to the gearbox? Did Jay play a part in this? Not in my FSM but it'll be fine. Maybe?

I put it on the PIVOT POINT OF THE SHIFT FORK. I didn't just throw shit in there. Took high temp general grease on my finger and put it on that point as in this post

Per that post it seems fine and fairly common for people to do it. Just didn't know if anyone in here had done anything similar
