No more squeak. No Clutch plate slipping. Good work ! Personally I'm very Leary of taking some of the free advise offered on the forum as well as trying to stop stupid shit after the fact cause the CAPS REPLIES gimmie the heebie jeebies. I do put grease under the Ebrake bell crank rubber boots cause I have to drive through salt water due to flood tides. Way too much Fluid Film on my Yoda for squeaks.

Small world. We had just moved to Brandon FL from NJ in early July when Andrew hit in August. I remember we would drive up to Plant City to get some different scenery and buy groceries at some discount store. The Publix in Bloomingdale would be cram packed with people on weekends so we liked to go up to Plant City on Saturday afternoons.

Lols sorry didn't mean to caps out there but didn't want anyone to think they can just stick a tube of grease into the housing hole behind the boot and squeeze. Thank you tho, hoping anyone with similar probs can benefit from this. My truck sound horrendous with each time the clutch released, kind of like bad ball joint grinding. I was leary of the advise on that post too but a couple people vouched for the same thing, and it worked.

I'm sure some Arizona dust or debris got in there through the breather on the boot for the clutch fork while trailing az forest roads going camping last year. That's one thing Az has that sucks is hella dust. Think I cleaned my Air filter 3-4 diff times last year haha

@Das it mang Not suggesting Fluid Film to you considering the find dust from Coliche trails and Dirt? Roads of AZ. Totally different environment. You know that squeak the Chalk makes on a pool Q tip. I would have probably blown out the fine dust before putting grease under pivot boot. Just saying:thumbsup::hattip:

good idea to blow out the dust, but since the pivot joint is in the housing; the dust will just go from the joint further into the housing, no? IMO the grease will fix it and gather the dust into the grease at the same time. So when/if it needs to be regreased I can take a Q tip and slough off the old nasty grease and replace. Or am I wrong lol

No, for something like this you want something that will cut into the paint. Wax is more of a protectant, and polishing compound does a better job at cutting.

That's a different Plant City. I was in Homestead FDACC plant City, world's largest exotic plant export center. But still kinda close. Yes it is a small wonderful world.
