Deer hunting BS thread

This is the way I entered the woods . Looking in hedge row where the deer come out of woods into this field . Tons of corn on the ground . It is a little early I think but you never know . Swapped 4 SD cards out . Checking them shortly

 

Cole and I were talking about looking for sheds, I want to take him out maybe this weekend or next and see what we can find. If nothing else show him what some trails and beds look like. I think he will enjoy it.

 

There's a resident 5 pointer at my sister's place that dropped one side the other day.

 

Browning camera came in. You do get what you pay for

This thing is nice, the battery tray comes out, has a screen to view pictures.

It’s about the size of my hand.

There’s a bracket on the back that straps to the tree so you can angle it. I’ve always had to use a stick behind it to get the angle right

 

Got another doe today!!

 

Browning makes a pretty awesome camera for the money, that’s all we use anymore.

My one Browning seems like it eats batteries awful fast compared to my other cameras.

 

I think so, not gonna buy another permit for a few days of hunting. Getting fired up for shed hunting now!

 

I use lithium batteries and usually get 2 years out of them. I have cameras out from July to February.

 

I have never had much luck shed hunting.

 

I get 3 or 4months but 4 or 5K pics, i got it set 3 burst pics and 5 sec delay

 

I’ve had a little luck!!

 

I've been using Rayovac and have to change them twice from August to February. 1 pic/ 10 sec clip. About 500 pics or so.

Worse than walking across a floor full of legos.

 

New hunting knife. Hope to get it out on a doe before the end of the season. Two weeks left of doe and spike
