I'm not that much of a poser LOL. I have a roof rack and I have (unmounted) lights. I just haven't figured out a strategy to wire them up yet. More of an issue of where to mount the relays and switches

Not a bad price for that sort of output either. Maybe @crashnburn80 can do a light test against the rigid and baja tiny lights

Opinions wanted. General consensus is that Tacoma seats are too low in the front to some people, to others it's too low in the back of the seat, to others the entire seat is too low, but it has to be above 75% of Tacoma owners that don't like Tacoma's driver's seat position.

    1. If you want a power seat mod for your 2005-2019 Tacoma what price point would you be willing to spend on that mod?

    2. If you would want a driver's power seat would you want the passenger front seat power operated as well?

The 2020 Tacoma has an available option of a driver's side power seat. I started to look up the price of that part from Toyota and I saw numbers over $1,000 so I stopped looking. I also noticed it would require an upholstery shop (at a minimum) to use the 2020's seat track on a 2005-2019. The 2020 seat frame assembly doesn't appear to be a viable easy mod on any other Tacoma without using the entire seat.

    3. What about a manual seat adjustment for the Tacoma that allows movement of the seat replicating the action of a power seats adjustability but without a electric motor to drive it, would that be of interest to you for your truck?
    .
    .
I've got the worst luck in replies received in all other thread areas of TW, this one thread is filled with positive vibes and that's exactly what I'm looking for. Thank you.

I would love to be able to lower my driver's seat. Don't really care much about the passenger, don't care if its power or manually operated. I'd probably go for manual anyway, since it would be cheaper, and easier to install (I would imagine/hope, since no wiring would be required). I have no idea what a reasonable price for something like this would be, though, maybe a couple hundred depending on how "plug and play" it is.

Honestly the only adjustability I would really want aside from the typical manual controls is to be able to control the front and rear height of the seat (where your butt sits on). The seat is almost there in terms of comfort but I would prefer my thighs to be a bit more elevated. That being said, I do know of the seat spacers that are sold on TW but im not completely sold on just one setting/height.

If there was a an electronic retrofit for the seat controls, I wouldn't want to pay more than 300-400 realistically. At that point, a few hundred dollars is something I can pass up and just deal with the seat.

    Question
I said I wasn't going to but ended up picking up a camper shell. I have bed stiffeners in the back as well as an ome lift with nitro charger shocks. Should that be enough to make up for the weight of the camper or should I consider getting some dakars? I dont have any armor in the rear besides a tailgate reinforcement but I've been eyeing the Dakar leaf pack with the u bolt flip and super bumps. Would that be overkill or better safe than sorry?
