    So...I’m back, kinda sorta.

I’ve been searching all over the Southwest for an affordable and manageable Tacoma. Couldn’t find one that didn’t have stupid high un-maintained miles, didn’t have a rotted frame, or didn’t have a salvage title. So I expanded my search fan to include Tundras and T100s and I stumbled upon this ‘96 3.4L V6 4WD SR5 T100. No rust, well maintained, and 220k miles for $5k. She needs a little cosmetic love and some continued routine maintenance, but it Feels great to be back in a Toyota truck after trading my Tacoma in for a new Sienna (3 kids and fussy wife) and driving a beat up 4runner in Hawaii for 3 years.

I’ve officially relocated from Hawaii to Colorado Springs. Bought a home, getting settled in nicely. Hope the holidays were kind to everyone.

NICE! If my Brother in law didn't sell me his lil Tacoma for cheap, I was going to go with either a V8 Tundra or V8 4runner in the 7-10K range. I'll probably still keep my eye out for a V8 though. Trying not to spend too much on the 5 lugger Taco to get it refreshed for daily driving but I have an itch for a cheap lift, upgrade tires and 3.73 LSD rear end if I can find one.

More pics of the super clean 96 T100 SR5 4x4 with 222k that I recently purchased. Think I done did good for $5k.

Best part...no rust! Anybody who’s lived in CO knows the rust horrors.

I am about to do gears and need to figure out which locker for the front.

Had to use a different carrier for 4.30 gears, trutrac from those frs/ brz fits perfectly in the 8” clamshell because that is essentially those cars rear diff. I got a used one from ebay for like $150. Out the door from zuk with new gears install etc for about $1000
