    Damn. I doubt they would be real strict but who knows. All gyms are greedy.

    In other news I put together my deadlift platform today. Waiting on glue to dry and need to stain the center wood and it’ll be done.

    I have the Bowflex dial weights I enjoy quite a bit. My set has to be 10 years old now. Holding together very well.

    I don’t like the block ones because they limit movement by locking your hand placement.

    I got in an hour easy run today. Feelin pretty ontop of the world.

    I ran pretty slow most of it but picked up the pace to an 8min mile for half a mile and was still able to talk to my husband next to me.
    I normally can’t do that... so pretty clear indication I’m overtrained and need to back off my lifting intensity as I return. Which sucks, I love lifting but you can’t give 100% to more than one sport at a time.

    Rest day tomorrow.

    Welp, stapled myself squatting 505x1 tonight. I think my stance was a little wide and the barbell got out in front of me. Barely made it out of the hole. Good news is the safety straps work! #feelsman

    One chick was doing barbell hip thrust whatever on the damn bench for the tow machine

    one CrossFit dude is flying around doing flailing pull ups and his hat keeps flying off.

    Slender man chick is squatting in the dumb bell area whenever there’s an actual squat area

    Welp - missed my “3 day cancellation” period by 1 damn day thanks to the holiday and weekend. The rep I signed up with was conveniently unavailable and the “only way to cancel” is online. They also have a terrible 30 day cancellation notice policy so not only am I out my joining fee, but I’m now stuck paying 2 months for the single workout I did today :frusty:

    Back to lifetime tomorrow, which I’ll never complain about again :bananadead:

    Hit a new PR this morning, #315 squat. Weight moved pretty well, went into the lift talking it. Unracked it, felt pretty light as I've been working with heavier weight practicing walkouts, big breath and focused keeping core big and tight. Controlled it down and moved it back up at a constant rate, not fast by any means. Nailed my goal and decided not to add more and go again as I'm trying for new PRs in bench (Wed) and deadlift (Fri).

    Smashing some (rep) PR’s this week. AMRAP on bench got 175 for 17 and then got 235 for 16 on squats. Goal was 12 on both of them. Got deadlift AMRAP Wednesday or Thursday at 285, going for 15+ on that too.

    @ThunderCookies is the man for meet prep/programming. Got me ready to suck this meet’s dick in April.
