speaking of glamping, my lady told me she wont go in the winter (all I asked to get her interested, was 1 time per month, she can choose when). And she doesnt think she can dig a hole.. so now I am researching portable toilets..

on another note, my RTT opens with a clicker, so I cant get much more glamping than that..

lol, we will see how my girl does. We did a test trip at the desert and she enjoyed it surprisingly. So went with the RTT setup. Going to try to stick to campsites with bathrooms for now.

Yea I think thats where im sticking to, at least with her. I do want her to be able to camp for 3 days when we go to the Outer Banks. It was amazing when I went in the fall of 2018. Driving on the sand, on an island, and no one around (except the people in our group)

That looks and sounds like an awesome trip. I was there this summer and didn't realize you could do that. Would've taken the truck for sure since we took two vehicles anyhow.
I would buy used from a member here that has a good rep for taking care of their shit, but don't trust the rest of the interwebs enough. I'm also completely ignorant, so i wouldn't know what red flags would be with used ones.

If that damn tent wasn’t so small I’d all over it. I can’t wait for their new releases. Their profile is so low.

Yeah I had an M49. FSR makes great tents.
It’s great for a single person or two skinny people. 2 larger people like me and the wife it was tight. Plus it was long AF on my short bed lol

Does anyone own a 23Zero Peregrine 180 or familiar with them? Looking for input, pros/cons that sort of thing. Also I'm having troubles finding an image or video that shows the mounting procedure. If/when I get an awning I want to mount it to my Apex bed rack and I'm not sure if I'll need an extra bracket to fit one or not. Thanks.

I use this, and it's held up well on off-road trips. I removed the bucket so that I can just dig a hole, place the seat over the hole, do work, and fill in hole with dirt...no mess to bring to the truck.
