When is the last time you had the pump and assembly out? Mine can be slow from 3/4 to full -- but always works.

Oh gosh sounds like my old man and why I have a hard time with him :rofl:same thing just vice versa. I'm like 'Pop, we don't have to reinvent the wheel and do it some fly by night just winging it difficult way!':rofl:he likes to be the knight that slays the dragon  make things harder than they are so he can be a hero. I believe it stems from his upbringing and stuff and I'm accommodating of it, my siblings not so much lol. It can be tough to be around lmao but really couldn't have had a better pops. We're more like brothers now anyways:cool:

The lever that the floats on in the tank can start to get sticky
Connections/grounds in the circuit of the fuel level guage start to develop resistance and voltage doesn't move the way it should and thus guage doesn't mark the way it should

Here's a pic of the pump, filter sock, and float after I changed mine last summer. If you want to pull the pump I can post pics with some shortcuts. I only needed to tilt the bed out of the way to get to the pump. I fretted about doing the FP job for months. It wasn't that bad once I made up my mind to just do it.

Oh crap that's right you're the one that did the fuel pump tilting the bed. That was kinda before we chatted over here. That was hella resourceful and should give any DIYer a solid option to complete the fuel pump swap:cool:

Have you done the fuel filter? That can have a similar effect especially when getting backed up with 20 years of use on it.

Giving the finger has become the symbol of validation of your sentient being to the younger generation as long as you smile while flying your bird its cool. Hard to tip a sock had too. My Nieces and Nephews send me smiley bird flys so I send the same back. They used to call me mister grumpy cause of my first reactions to this NEW? behavior till they schooled me on being HIP.
