Don't listen to these guys, I think it looks great. It would look better with a falcon sitting on top of it, but even without, it still looks good.

One of my best memories is walking through a Falcon shop in the middle east. Just a huge white marble room with 3 or 4 posts in the middle that the falcons were perched on. Had a couple small birds (Saker if I recall), and at the end was an ENORMOUS golden eagle. I really wanted to know what it costs, but you watched some really affluent people come in and considering they were looking at the smaller birds, I can only imagine what sort of sheikh you had to be to roll in and buy the golden. :spending:

Fun fact: we had the chance to kill Bin Laden in '99 while on a falcon trip out in the desert, but he was conveniently staying in a tent next to one of the princes of the UAE.

Eagles are not mormally used in falconry in the mid-east, so wouldn't be much demand. In that situation the eagle would likely be cheaper than the sakers.

Shows you what I know. But I probably still didnt have anywhere near the coin for that sort of feathered weaponry.

Probably not. If the sakers were wild caught Altai sakers smuggled in from Russia they could easly fetch five figures. I have no clue what a golden eagle would bring in the mid-east.

You can post before then. Sunday is just the deadline.

Make sure to mark it as your submission.

You can only submit one photo, so lots of people wait until Sunday on the off chance they get something better.

One of my Telechron clocks from the art deco period. I tried to get it to rain in my living room so I could satisfy all three of the criteria, but I eventually got tired of waiting.
