my oem LBJs could 'probably' go north of 200k with no change out
but they are very aged at this point

I'm in CA, and my 555 LBJs look orange.

The OEM LBJs with 220k or so miles still have their metallic finish but looser than a Street Fighter II Turbo joystick at a laundromat.

I'll likely be going moog on my ball joints when they're needed. Lot of peeps will flame me but lots of the 5 luggers use them with no issues and thrash em hard.

Just gotta know when shit needs to be replaced. I ran the lbjs on my previous ram until the truck would screech with each speed bump and turn of the wheel. (stupid, I know) Tirepros fixed them for me but said it was hanging on a thread before shit would fall apart lol.

Good thing you don't have the same issues our 6 lugs do regarding LBJs but IIRC, aren't you on lift spindles?

I thought some of those used uniballs for the upper; unsure for the lower.

gonna be buying the spindles here soon, as well as likely a spacer to go with it. I got my insurance check but been paying bills and now have to renew the registration on my truck for 2 years for 100 bucks by the 15th. Sadly, we don't get uniballs with lift spindles and have to go LT in order to get that for our 5 lugs. Only issues 5 lugs have is their LBJ brackets are weak. (some have broken them, but they jump their 5lug's like they have LT) I'm hoping eventually I can find someone to machine them like this guy used to
