    Tacoma_Front_Clean_Nov2019.jpg Hey guys!

I swapped my Front Runner for a sweet Prinsu. Since the rack is aluminum how are you guys grounding your lighting? Thanks!

I'm trying to wire my Rigid Scene lights on the side of the Prinsu.

I have it grounded in the engine bay. I use duplex tire, so I already have both hot and ground at both ends. Makes wiring to my switchpro setup way easy. If you had all the electronics set up already, you could prob throw on some ring terminals and use one of the cab mount bolts as your ground stud.

I've tried grounding to the mounting hardware (of the Rigid Light) with no luck. I didn't want to pull the Prinsu mount bolt because I've silicone it in place but will probably give that a shot. Thanks

Oh, I thought you had yet to install your prinsu. Thats why I was saying if you already had the wiring down, you could do it before you silicone them in place.

Yes. It's already up. I will try to run it to the bolt tomorrow. If that doesn't work I'll see if I have anymore room to squeeze another ground though the roof.

Why not just run it back to the battery (or wherever the + is coming from).

You could ground it on the prinsu but I wouldn’t. The connection will most likely corrode if not done properly and you’ll also have to remove powder coating to make the connection ruining a nice prinsu rack.
