But now you have an excuse for no-leg days.

    That still sucks though.

Eating more and putting on some fluff kinda sucks aesthetically but man. Feeling stronger and being able to push more weight feels so damn good.

definitely Paulo on the left. Too big of calves to be me with his back to us. But, that might be @ThunderCookies on the far right with the flattest ass I’ve ever seen.

Swimming and biking hurt the worst because if where the tear is. So those will probably be a no. I hate swimming and biking anyways so I wouldn’t do them.

I could probably do a lot of seated bicep curls LOL.

I’ll likely be limited to all seated upper body work for awhile. I’m hoping I can return to walking again in 4-6 weeks.

It sucks but I’ve been here before. Just time to switch gears and make different goals.

    Recovery becomes my focus.

He told me once everything heals my knee should be able to handle all my activity again which is the most important thing.

He could have told me my activity would have to be limited for the rest of my life. I’m grateful he sees no reason why I can’t continue to lift and run long distances forever.
Plus the meniscus itself is not torn so I shouldn’t develop arthritis in the knee from this injury.

I still haven't determined if eating this much, feeling fat and slow, feet hurting, knees hurting, being out of breath from tying shoes, or sweating my ass off (literally) all day while sitting at work is worth the bulking up this high lol

I like being strong, but fuck.... this sucks

That’s some next level shit. The middle ground is where I’m enjoying it for now. Within 2-3 months I could have abs showing again but feeling strong for now.

I’m sure it’ll be worth it for you once you start winning competitions and ride that high

Yeah but sitting in work meetings sweating while everyone else is in jackets looking at me like I'm tweaking or something sucks lol

I run hot already, but the added weight and test is almost too much to handle.

How long are you planning to try this out? What’s your goals?

And my wife hates how hot I am in the house. I’ll be sweating while she’s freezing. The struggle is real on having muscle on our bodies compared to others lol

Till I can't take it anymore or physically do it is the plan.

I don't ever plan to get over 330lb. I think next I will cut down a little more before bulking back up then do a better/longer cycle so I stay leaner.

It's nuts right now. If I don't have AC or a fan blowing on me I'm sweating. It's been 76 in our office for the last month and I can't stand it lol when I get hot I get angry then that makes me even more hot... So it's a cycle lol

    Like, so many.
You guys ever mess around with kettle bells? I got bored over the holidays and focused almost exclusively on working with kettle bells and I really enjoyed the change of pace. I feel like I got stronger, but the ability to lift heavier kettle bells could have been from improved technique. It was definitely fun to learn something new though.

I've been on both sides. I was always on the warm side of everyone else, then the last few years I lost a bunch of weight, and now it's the opposite, I am significantly colder then everyone else. Especially after a good cardio workout when I end up over compensating after I'm done (hot to cold).

That sucks. I would be worried about losing my core/stabilization/posterior chain muscles doing seated exercises all the time. But maybe you can find a way to work them without stressing your knee.

^^^ this i dont quite understand. I think you can control your body temp easier than you think. bare feet. no hat. more exposes skin. have her with wool socks on and sweats to keep her core temp higher. the wife and I keep our house cool intentionally for energy savings this time of year and she's normally the one telling me to put on more clothes, slippers, etc. We solve the cold by just wearing more clothes and having baller LL bean slippers so our feet are warm but NOT sweaty (which would defeat the purpose of slippers by creating clammy feet anyway).

There are some pretty good exercises you can do with kettlebells. As I prepared for the gym to get crowded this month, I wanted to make sure I had adequate flexibility in my workout so as not to waste time at the gym seeking free exercise equipment and trying to ad-lib a less than effective workout. This repository of workouts (bodybuilding.com exercise finder) is pretty good. The only thing is they don't spec weight, reps, or sets. You have to be comfortable doing that on your own. Just select muscles, equipment, or other and you are good to go, no time wasted. as long as you can quickly pick the weight, reps, and set for yourself. Also I record all my information for my own tracking purchases, I am a big nerd in that aspect. So i try to write these things down so I can easily recall for next time I need to add on that accessory.

i think she has low iron or something but she refuses to listen  I’ve googled that shit and being cold a lot can be a sign of that but nooooo

Its in my genes over here :/ My grandpa wears cotton diapers on his head when we go fishing because he sweats so much lol

Even at 195lbs when I was super lean I had the same hyperhidrosis BS going on. Just something I gotta live with I suppose.
