    Oops... Forgot one.

A Technic from '91 I picked up yesterday. Man have things changed with the kits... Specifically the instructions.

Is the other version supposed to be a riding mower?

Last night of vacation which means time for me to work on my last lego kit till the weekend... Sad day. However, I figured it's best to end with something awesome.

The Millennium Falcon came in yesterday. It’s a beast- shipping weight is 37 lbs. Double boxed in addition to the actual box.

In a kind of PITA twist, the gratis Obi-Wan shipped separately and will be delivered today. Not a problem except Lego is demanding a signature for this too...

The newest collector series Falcon ? It looks awesome in person , but I built a Falcon in a smaller scale and just wasn’t a fan of the build. It looked cool, I just didn’t have fun.

Yes, the new UCS version. Despite seeing the unfinished appearing underside here, I pulled the trigger over New Years. Figured it would be my Lego hoorah for the year..

Like I said, it’s a beast. I’ll post up the box dimensions and pic later today.

I keep forgetting to post up pics of the Saturn 5 but now I'm on a jobsite and it'll take forever to upload. But it was a very fun build, can't wait to buy another bigger one down the road.

Well I'm hopefully only going to get some of the bigger sets as of right now. I don't need the small little sets, so for right now the only ones I'm eyeing are the Lunar Lander, UCS Falcon and the 007 Aston Martin.

But if there are a few cool small ones that I'll pick up

I have quite a few genuine sets, but I have to ask here what's the view toward bootLEGO sets, MOCs, etc.

I've bought a few recently, mainly of retired sets that I don't want to pay the scalping premium.

need to learn more about this stuff
This thread has cost me way more than Anything else TW. Glad I bought a Tacoma just so I could find this thread and it pushed me to buy a set and now many sets later I’ve been trying to slow down. Haha

Not technically the Lego brand but they are Legos to me. I spent longer than I'd care to admit putting this Seahawks helmet together after the playoff victory on Sunday. I think it was about 1300 pieces.

Until this past month, I had only bought a smallish kit or two for my son. We had a ton of older cool kits from my wife and me when we were kids, and his grandmother was buying him lots of new younger ones, mainly City.

But then my 4 yo was looking at the catalog and told me wife he wanted to get me the London Bus for Christmas, which would have been cool. And then we decided that the Aston would be way cooler. That will be the newest, most advanced kit ever for me.

Then I just bought her the Saturn V for her birthday in a couple weeks, and snagged the lunar lander too before they retire it, so I can give her that next Christmas. So between the two of us, that's about $350 in a couple weeks.

I have a ton of older Legos and I'm gonna try and rebuild a few of the main ones I like. But so far the most advanced/most expensive has been the Saturn V. Really enjoyed it, I'm gonna wait on the others as I want the UCS Falcon next but if they plan to retire any of the others I'll snag them
