Why thank you... hopefully we'll get on to something.

I know a guy who basically paid for most of a 2nd gen Tacoma with a nugget he found (was metal detecting)... I don't have any unrealistic expectations like that. Just figure the amount of creeks I cross and abandoned mines there are up there... even a blind squirrel finds a nut some of the time.

Not necessarily true when you have her bent over and you have to get all twisted sideways because the roof isnt tall enough...

Someone post a video deploying your RTT as fast as possible, and someone else do it with a ground tent. That's the only way we'll solve this.

I think the portable pet ladder on Amazon is rated for 100lbs, i stood on my dogs ladder and I'm 120 lbs and I wasn't displaced on 4 legs.
It feels solid but only used it 20 times or so.
Not sure on longevity of it but I think I paid 60$.
Dog had no trouble in learning how to use it but I did start teaching him getting in and out of the truck with it.

@fatfurious2 does his by pushing 1 button, it's awesome.
I don't know of a ground tent I can push 1 button and it opens.
I do have a lightweight ground tent that I can setup fast than his though if you're not including steaking it.

Its harder for the critters to get in the tent with you. I remember having a raccoon on my tent a few years back looking for a way in. I don't think id want to be in a tent where there are wild animals and join the food chain.

Raccoon won't eat you. You're safe, lol. Might tear your face off.

You need to practice drinking more so you’re more prepared for stumbling around.

My wife decided she would go camping if she didnt have to mess with bugs and rain. We bought the RTT and she loves it, but you are right, it isn't as practical on your vehicle. I built a cheap trailer this summer and have been doing a little more to it each time we take a trip.

I also remember camping out in a tent and my cousin showed up drunk when we were sleeping and peed on our tent. That wasn't rain. He couldn't have done that if we were sleeping on top of the truck.

if your taller than 6 feet then pretty much every box is too small, unless you sleep curled up like a snail

Keep my little suppressed 22 handy for small game. Little bastards ate all my shredded cheese one time. I was on the hunt after that.
