I haven't. But you never know what may happen. Freak things happen wheeling. On a street rig that's a DD I would rather have stuff that I can get relatively easily as far as joints and stuff if they go bad.

That’s the top of My list but I don’t want to have to rebuild them either after a certain amount of time.

Hell, after hitting the deer I keep a spare spindle, 3 U-joints, Alignment cam bolts, spare bolts for most stuff, spare truck battery, and working on getting more.

Still need to order spare serpentine belt and some spare idler pulleys, spare uniballs, UCA bolts, coilover bolts and nuts, and couple other things. I commute 220 miles round trip and have had to do trail fixes on the side of the highway to get to work and home multiple times. Being prepared never hurts and most things don’t take much room. I’ve stopped and helped people zip-tie body work back on a few times. I also don’t leave home without my freedom devices :goingcrazy: it’s a crazy world out there.

Fair. Heard horror stories as we all have though! Of at least the SPC ones top nut coming off and laying into a tire shredding it! Doesn’t mean it wasn’t recoverable but I’d call it a fail (due to not checking yer nuts!)! :anonymous:

My dad has a very good condition TJ Rubicon on 6” long arm kit with 37’s... sent me a picture the other day where he sheared the track bar bracket off the rear axle 20 miles up a fire road on Mt Hood. If he had a ratchet strap he could have trail fixed it to limp home but he had nothing with him. Luckily my brother used to run a tow truck company and they hooked him up with a $500 flat rate recovery. Took the tow truck 4 hours just to get to him. Can’t be prepared for everything, but you can try to be prepared for basic stuff.
