Anyone with an excavator or bobcat should be able to handle that. Drain the water, remove the pump and piping along with electrical and then just push most of it into the hole, dirt on top and then either compact or let nature handle it.

since you’re wanting it as a driveway I would suggest a compactor.

Some of the rocks are held together with concrete, so a bobcat could handle that as well without tipping over the waterfall edge LOL. Because that doesn’t sound too difficult he wants $1000 for two days. And then pay the dump truck guy for the dirt. But if that’s the case and it seems easy enough maybe we can rent one and do it ourselves?

Do you have experience with a bobcat?

The concrete holding them probably isn’t a massive bond so should separate pretty easy.

$1k isn’t bad. Ask him if he’s going to compact the dirt since you’re wanting a driveway on it. You want the soil pretty tight right from the start so it doesn’t settle and drop over time. He does landscaping so he probably has one.

If he gets impatient waiting for the neighbors property, he wants extra shop to go directly behind house

Ok just take the shop into consideration if it going in this spot you need to dig alll this up and haul off and backfill and compact accordingly. If not just fill will with existing and compact.

Yeah the shop wouldn’t go there, the dirt road would be leading to the shop. Plus it’s the only way will be able to get all the Cedars out and clear out the property because the equipment won’t fit anywhere else to get back there, too sketchy
