Not a shop, just a buddy of mine. Are you looking for a shop to do some work?

    perhaps!
just a bed and fuel tank removal at some point and then reinstallation, i am not all that mechanically inclined, and don't really have specialty tools for removing certain things. it seems rather straight forward just not sure about seized bolts, they are currently being soaked with FF to loosen up some crustyness
but i need better temps for the paint underneath
was thinking of buying an electric heater at HF for $50 or $60 on sale this month and get busy with it so i can have one less thing to worry about
i can probably media blast outside when temps are in the 40s, you never know around here what the weather is going to be like
but the primer and paint needs over 60 degrees and low humidity for proper application per instructions
...been rather antsy about getting it all done sooner rather than later
DAMN IT U-PULL-IT south O lot

    thumbnail 20 back box.jpg

i can probably even abrasive blast when its freezing out with a coat on, since I already have to wear protective gloves, but have not tried the blaster gun yet when its cold like now

If you're looking for a local shop, talk to Allan Starkey at Starkey Auto Care. He's a buddy of mine and does good work. You can also go to TORC Motorsports and talk to Toby, also a great shop. Either place you go, tell them Sam with the yellow Jeep TJ sent you. :)

getting the alignment checked at Village Pointe in the coming days
its complimentary, no appointment is necessary with mailer coupin
wonder what they may find, have not ever had one done and it has only been checked once which turned out ok.

the weather is supposed to be near the 50s for many days over the weekend
prime time to get some tacoma work done, except for primer and/or paint. it needs to be more than 60/70s to get that task tackled

    the snow is melting!

is there anybody in need of any last-minute anticorrosion spraying while the weather is warmish?
this spray gun applicator i am using is pretty cool i think, it pushes the gel around like a magnet chasing water away
although the techs @ Village Pointe did not like it very much...
they took all kinds of pictures to show me

    It is just money...
Have used them a lot on and off and pretty happy with how it all turns out for the price myself.

No, I had them do the cage in my Jeep a few years back. For one, the color swatch they gave me was way off than the actual color that came out. That wasn’t such a big deal. They charged my card twice, and when I said something (because I have purchase alerts on) the owner basically told me to pound sand and call my bank. Well... I work at the bank, so I knew there was nothing we were going to do lol. I ended up having to file a dispute and eventually got my money back for the second charge but it was a hassle. To this day, I’m sure he got paid twice.
