If you had my backyard available to you, you would not drive for over 2 hours to pay to wheel.

I need some advice on parts they are trying to get me to replace. They said there is a hole in my exhaust and the front calipers are seized. I don't need a lot of what they reccomended

It's nice to have your backyard, but Ray got more challenging trails than your backyard allows for in the winter. At least from legal point.

Decline everything and take your truck to independent shop, (if you need one in GTA I can direct you to the one I use always).
Toyota techs are the least kind of people I would trust. I'll bring my Taco to Audi dealer before I take it to Toyota for repairs.

Depending on the actual material, it might be a bit different to install. my neighbor's brother is the one who installed the clear bra on my truck, i can talk to him about it if you find out what it is that you got

They are replacing my frame this week, I was considering paying the labour for the 4 new 5100s @ $249.

They also said that there is a leak in my AC system, I'm trying to keep things maintained while on a budget.

I'd like to know a shop you reccomend in the GTA

Always boggles my mind when instead of installing a new shock, which they are doing anyways. They decide to charge the customer....like wtf. As a tech I would rather not dismantle the old shocks as they would most likely be fucked. $250 to leave your current shocks on the old frame and put new ones that you provide on the new frame.....

    brutal.

Do you think I could get away with less elsewhere? It'll need an alignment too after new shocks so $250 really sucks but I think it would be more if I did that at an independant shop

They are going to need an alignment regardless. They are reinstalling an entire suspension onto the new frame.

you figure they are completely tearing out everything and putting it on the new frame. Whether they install your old shocks or new shouldn’t matter. I understand they are being business oriented but keep in mind alignment and all that stuff should be done regardless.
