I use these. I like them cuz they stack and then are pinned together when traveling so they don’t end up all over the back of the truck

this is what I have, but I only have a 4 pack. Otherwise I use rocks

 

Never been in an RTT and curious to see if this would be something for my family. Our girls are old enough now to enjoy camping but not sure this would be the route. 2 adult and 2 children, what type of setup if any would be best for this scenario. Or stick with ground and camper.

 

Might be tight, even in the bigger tents with 4 people. Do you have anyone who can loan you one for a couple nights?

 

I do not know a soul that owns one tomorrow close to me

 

There are lots of options that sleep 4 comfortably.
CVT, GoFST, Roam, 23Zero almost all of them have a large enough tent.
Also. There are places that rent them depending on where you’re living.

I will have to look into that. I do not live anywhere close to any type of outdoor shops/stores that do that but I will be looking. Thanks for the options guys.

 

I have a Roam Vagabond XL. I’ve slept 5 in it.
Me. My wife. Our two kids 3/5. And her son 16. And weren’t cramped.

 

Wow that’s impressive. I’m gonna try to find someone close enough to at least look and see if feasible

 

Look up Rove Overland. You can rent a RTT or a trailer from them. I think they're in the NC area

 

I’ll actually be heading up that way in 2 weeks so I can make probably swing by there.(10 hrs from me). Thanks for the info @fatfurious2

 

Do you live in Alabama? If so, where about? There are a couple guys around here with RTT’s.
