Stick with 02 and below and it shouldn't be an issue.

Just get a j shift transfer case and you'll be golden.

You'll be able to utilize your ADD setup; as for the PCM and all I thought that was specific to 03/04? And specific to the push button transfer case?

J shift requires manual input, which in turn sends a signal out to your ADD to engage/disengage when you shift to 4HI or 4LO.

Dan cleared the j shift question we both had when asked about how the ADD knows if it's going into 4x4 or not.

Anyone have a suggestion for a good dash cam? Can one also have a rear camera input?

Dude, i met two cats(my cousins cats) that LOVE to play fetch and they even bring the little stuffed mouse back to you so you throw it again. They also LOVE to be petted hard and aggressively, almost massage like for them.... I had never seen a cat act like that before. It was awesome. :D had no idea cats can be cool like dogs:cool:

so again i say this FF stuff is NOT well known in my central location
i told the toyota indie mechanic about the reaction the dealer had when my truck was having alignment check and they found everything coated in FF drizzle.
he, indie mechanic, said he had seen it before in his tenure but not all that often
no wonder i feel so absolutely FUCKED :( :bananadead:

I think it's wonderful that you're really doing your research on this. It's a big endeavor and as few of surprises as possible will definitely go a long ways:D:cool:
