Very tired and just sitting here enjoying a deserved beer.

Been running my pop to Dr appointments for the last 2 days.

I'm not sure the VA farming out work to regular hospitals is an improvement.

I drove 110 miles past a VA hospital to take the old man to a hospital that has the specialized equipment and people.

Le, sigh.

If it's good for the pops, it's gotta be good, right?

I'm at 590 miles of road time so far. Vdo I really want submit a milage affidavit to the VA? This is my father, so it's weird.

 

I wish they'd get rid of the VA and give the vets free insurance and let them choose where they want to go. We have 2 VA's within 30 miles of each other. The VA in Tuskegee sends everything to us b/c we're 2 miles closer than the VA in Montgomery. It's insane.
