Just rolled 5k on my 2010 and my maint. light came on. Is this because it just needs to have it's check-up???

The maint light comes on every 5,000 miles and should be reset once you change the oil. It's a mileage thing only unlike some vehicles that attempt to measure when the oil is breaking down.

What they all said. Then you'll need to reset so the light goes out.

put odometer reading on dash, turn key off completely, hold the trip knob down while turning key to on where lights come on on dash but don't start, you should see dashes where mileage would be and they will flash disappearing one at a time. When done the mileage comes back on display. Done.

We were speaking of the yellow light. If you get the red light coming on, you're truck needs help quickly.
