Off topic, well kinda, more like off quote, but I had a brain fart earlier in that post regarding the converting ADD to manual system, some have done it after having an issue in the ADD system somewhere and they just thought it'd be easier to convert. Also another pro, not that big a deal, is that you get your cv axle to stop spinning full time and only when hub is locked. Save wear and tear. Not a big deal but it is there.:D and if you already factored that into the equation, grassyass por leer igual:D

The so cal trainning is all i want. It applies to my job.

union training doesn’t apply to me. Because im in a steamers ans pipe fitters Union. So not much i need to know to be learned.

only reason I would swap to union later is to get a jurneyman title for the better benefits

That's about how I'd do it. Simple enough with relays

and that right there is one of the biggest points I see mentioned. immediately followed by someone who asks how many people actually can say their axles crapped out as a result of spinning full time... ahhhh another one of those timeless debates

but I wonder if this is on the older tacos pre-push button selector - that is what I'm trying to figure out. Do I actually need to worry about this. I think Dan has said no but wanted to verify by putting the TTORA info out there.

Hi, guy that works with metal parts all day here. CVs in ADD setups are always spinning. Without load behind them there's almost no wear taking place bathed in all that molybdenum disulphide grease. Those parts are all case hardened and would need some actual force on them for either surface to even slightly gall the other. Only part that wears is the cheap part, the rubber boot.

not doubting your input on the boots or axles at all just was mentioning how someone always chimes in about the axles being fine with them spinning full time. or wait, is it just the boot that spins full time ;)

just trying to understand it all. a bit of ramp up time.

My point is that the vacuum add can operate independent of the case you chose. I can adapt it to either so long as you have a vac add front diff tube.
