    4 run, 2 don't
And I'd rather go manual hubs which is why I own 2 sets of hubs (had a 3rd), and a manual diff tube.

I only offered as a means of 1. Buying a nice ADD setup and 2. Help steer a friend back to the other direction of manual hubs

Honestly I wouldn’t touch ADD with a 10 1/2 foot pole. It isn’t difficult to get it to work, but I don’t think getting out of the truck and turning a dial is all that difficult.

I mean if you really wanted it, it’s obviously easier to find ADD parts plus ADD axles are stronger. Simplest way is to use the newer 2001-2004 electronic ADD actuator and some wiring. I can’t help you much there though, because I don’t know how to do it. You’ll need a relay and I believe a DPDT switch. Ask @mechanicjon he's better at this stuff than me.

Got shipping notifications for both my Camelback Toyota orders today. It's a combined order now but the first order was put in well over a month ago. Just happy things are finally making their way here...

It has the odds and ends my flatbed needs to return to service. Mostly seals and the front diff tube bearing. Parts for valve covers seals on both trucks. As well as two new wheel bearings, a manual hub assembly, and the outer spindle seals for my double cab.

Yep, staying away from the electronic ADD Actuator though. Expensive part when it fails. Why the plan is to do ADD with the jshift setup. The 2-4 push button I didn't want to go that route, would need a ton more work vs this route. I know the easy path would be the one you (and many others) chose to take - manual hubs but I'd rather do something different.

If you do the j shift add swap you do t need the computer. For push button you would need the computer.

thanks for the confirmation. what i was thinking based on that doc I attached. In fact, one of the same you sent me earlier I believe. Might be the preceeding page for the T4 plug. So glad I grabbed that FSM hardcopy pack (included the Electrical Wiring Diagrams booklet) from ebay when I did.

What you’ll have to do is see exactly what your trucks wired for and what it isnt. If I get the shit I’ve got going on done this week I’ll see what my dads truck is like since they seem to be the same truck.
But chances are you’re going to need the transmission relay, and to run a few wires and the Connectors for said wires

Not too Bad. Now, I would pull the kick panel trim down and pull the fuse box down to check the wires going to the fuse box and make sure they’re all there. Also, check if the wires are at the ecu. You MAY need an ecu, I don’t know if these trucks got 4x4 ecu or not as prerunners

I realized I don’t need a locker to begin with. I use my truck for truck things like hauling trash and other stuff that doesn’t fit in a car.
