I am not convinced. Maybe it is just respect. He has left a ton of money on the table for a bunch of years so that the Pats had the ability to build a team that could win. Every game Belichick and Brady look at their personnel and come up with a best plan to win based upon what they have for talent on the field and for what the other team brings to the field. They don't care if they run the ball every play or pass the ball every play. Whatever it takes to win. That is the overall driving force in their decisions. I don't see Brady going elsewhere because he is unlikely to find a place that will offer a better chance to win then the Patriots. I don't see the Patriots getting a different quarterback since there aren't any better options then him in the free agent market. He didn't want to be franchised and most likely they both just said, let's play out this season and check back with each other after the season is over and see what makes the most sense. He certainly does not need the money and does not appear to be driven by money or stats, just by winning.

The bottom line is he will be 43 next season. I don't care how much kale he eats.

If the ball was flat that play would have worked! That was just an experiment with Lucks O-Line. LOL... Dick!

I’m sure Belichick weighed the pros of videotaping from the wrong viewpoint (remember, videotaping was allowed) vs. the fines and draft picks lost and said, “hell ya, let’s cheat.” Anyone who thinks Brady participated in deflating balls ignores physics and the fact he won half of his 6 rings after the circus that became deflategate.

However if saying they’re cheaters helps you deal with your then mediocre Chiefs then good for you.

Very good point. The company I work for did some of the timber work there, luckily it was before I started working there.

As a Bills fan I would've been torn between doing professional work and drawing dicks in hidden locations everywhere.

I am sure this will convince no one who already believes the Patriots are cheaters but here goes.

Details matter. Spygate was more about Goodell putting Belichick in his place for not treating Goodell with what he deemed the right amount of respect. The videotaping from the sideline was only illegal if it was used while that game was actually being played. It wasn’t. Belichick abided by the letter of the rule and did not use the video tape during the game. Only after the game. But Goodell did not like being shown up so he as judge, jury and executioner decided to punish Belichick. And the actual content recorded could be legally recorded from the press box. So, 80K people could see and record the same info. The Patriots did not receive any advantage by what they taped. No more than any other team in the league. They just were dinged by Goodell because Belichick thought he was abiding by the letter of the rule and Goodell disagreed.

As for “Deflategate”, there are plenty of independent analysis of the entire saga that show the NFL was wrong and bent the “findings” to meet a predetermined outcome, including a federal judge and many scientists. They released a proven false narrative to steer public opinion and ignored scientific facts. They also collected data the next year to prove their narrative and then somehow didn’t bother to publish the findings when the findings proved the NFL wrong.

Which is more likely to have happened?

    A. The Patriots have cheated their way for 20 sixteen game seasons plus playoffs to gain success and win 6 out of 9 Superbowls.

    Or,

    B. With talent, toughness, intelligence and hard work the same team managed to realize unparalleled success.

And, yes, I am a Patriots fan but I am neither rabid nor blind. I just like facts over hype. I am not a Bulls fan but I respect their success. And I am sure as hell not a Yankees or Lakers fan but I respect their accomplishments even while I root for any team playing against them.

Please prove me wrong, but can you use facts?

    Some really cool shit
Well, Jimmy G was fined $7,000 by the League for throwing the football into the stands AFTER win in Seattle. But the League is still THINKING about fining Clowney for his cheap shot on Carson Wentz. This is the same guy who was fined $40,000 in November 2018, for a late hit on Nick Foles.

Any NFL fan should be careful how much they enjoy any other teams demise at the hand of Goodell’s judgement as your favorite team could be next.

It was a good throw too, right to a specific niners fan that made a good catch.

It will be fun watching 70% of the Pats fans disappear when they are no longer in the super bowl every other year.
