    Kinda stock
    Mine isn’t race spec, but I welded 3/16” plate to the frame. Then butt welded the cage to that plate. Last I added a gusset from the tube to the frame.


    Not mine, but I went with this approach.

    My buddy that tig welds won't be available to weld a bung for a heim joint for me any time soon. So I'm considering Mig welding it. Do you think the heat off of a mig would be to much of an issue? Or should I just wait until he can tig it for me?

    I was considering the same thing when thinking about a fill / inspection bung on an axle housing but they mig those and they’re not as thick.
