Not from the procedure but general soreness from what I have no idea. I succumb to the idea that it'll probably hurt for the rest of my life.

    Thank the lord for whiskey

Be careful about self medicating with alcohol. I've been there and alcoholism sucks.

I find being honest with your pharmacist can get you the right type of meds to help. I'm in pain 24/7, but with my meds I can keep the pain to a 4 or 5 (out of 10) on a daily basis.

Go to Palmetto State Armory, order a kit (I'd recommend a 16-inch 5.56mm kit for a first ar15) minus the lower receiver. Go to a local gun store and purchase a cheap (aluminum, not plastic) stripped lower receiver for between $35 and $60 bucks and follow instructions via YouTube. You should be able to build a basic one for $450-600

His is a pistol build in .300 Blackout

I wouldn't recommend a non-standard caliber as a first build. 5.56 is cheap and everywhere and it'll help you see what features you want on your next ar15 :D

    ^^This.

    It ain't rocket science.

Considered a "pistol" in the eyes of the ATF.
Deeper down the rabbit hole you will go.
