For sure, that PB did the trick, we'd prob still be there waiting if it wasn't for you

No overload, figured I'd see how the front leveled out without it to see how it goes and such.

Yes, those are the ones. Same bulbs for the low beams and brights. Too bad you didn’t catch the 40% off sale. If you don’t have a bed mat get one. Stops the insane sliding around in the bed. Next best is replacing the interior bulbs with LEDs. Then the sky’s the limit!

I'd wire brush then apply a rust killer like Twin Etch and then paint if that's the direction you are heading.
If it was me and they are removable and not welded on my OCD would make me remove them and have them sprayed with Bullet Liner.
Not a cheap fix but one and done!
That said cost is always a consideration as well as what will make you happy with the final result.
Twin Etch and paint should work fine as long as the paint matches, if removable I'd shoot the whole thing.
One thing I've learned over the years is that when it comes to paint the final result will be no better that the prep work done beforehand. Good luck.

The clips I printed look better. They have good retention and they're solid.

Thanks ! So I need two sets for the upgrade. I will probably wait until they go on sale. Fingers crossed.
Yes, the bed mat was one of the first mods I did, It makes a huge difference. The led's for the interior is another thing I am looking at. I have this set on my wish list, although I am also eyeing the MESO options. The problem is that it is all cross border for me so it adds to the cost.

    Not enough
I am doing the exact same thing right now. I took mine off and hit them with some sand paper, emery cloth, parts cleaner and 4 coats of primer. I'm going to do a few coats of a paint enamel and then possibly hit it with a bedliner or some sort of textured coating. I think the first time I painted them I did not put enough primer/paint on. If were to do it all over again with the bare sliders I think I would have done POR-15 and a textured top coat.
