Just ordered a set of 265/75/16s off Amazon for $169ea. Thanks for all the feedback in this thread.

Now I need to wrestle with white letters out or in.

Heads up for anyone - America’s tire price matched Walmart for 255/85/16 at $205 each and you’ll get the 10% (15% with their card) back on a rebate

Anyone found a good snow chain that works with the 255/85/16? I don't have an active need, but would like to have a set for emergency use for the few times a year I hit the snow.

just got tires mounted and balanced. should I be concerned with 4.5oz stacked up like this or is this typical for this heavy of a tire? wheel is scs f5 16x8, and tire size is 285/75/16

They should remount that tire. Rotate it around the rim to balance it out better and not use so many weights

That’s what I was thinking. When I asked how they balanced out the techs response was. “Well they are mud terrains” I have a feeling I’ll be visiting another shop. I’ll be running them on the vehicle next week. I shall see :(

here’s a couple. Trucks still in the shop currently installing new diffs with lockers and 5.29 gears. I like the tires so far, only thing is I’m having to dial in quite a bit of cross camber to get them to track straight. They deff pull to the right.

Also be careful who you choose to mount your tires. Shop scratched all 5 of mine in the center hub area. After I told the tech that they scratch in that area easily and I was told they have cones that they could do it without scratching. I touched them up and came out great but I was pretty upset.

    Thank you! They are 16x8 3.5bs, -25mm offset. 285/75/16

I might play around with cross caster to help with the pull instead of cross camber. I just don’t really wanna mess with my cab mount clearance.

You’ll figure it out. Any rubbing with that setup?
