Should work well long as u get the right length, right? 5 luggers were saying you'd lower the truck on them, but with longer length and good coils on the coilovers; I don't see why you couldn't "theoretically" get the same amount of lift on the qa1 coilovers as u would with the v6 coils and spacer lift.

I thought about it as well, but think Imma stick with spacer and spindles, run fiberglass for bigger tires, do 6 lug 4:10 rear end with e-locker, 32's tires, AND THEN years later likely do LT. There's so many stepping stones to complete for LT lol.

i have the volume on low usually with stock door speakers
i love to hear the quiet consistent road noises
i do not have dynamat or whatever, just sound deadening rubbery undercoat under cab and bed that could use a mid-life refresh

I haven't put it in the Tacoma yet but I imagine it will help with the valve tick and hold up better with the lots of idle time and low RPM loading the truck sees on the trail.

Only really gets street time to/from the trail these days

I think I want to go look at this 2001 T4R with 228,000 miles. I might be able to snag it for cheap. Not sure about the money yet. I've got so many extra parts for a 3.4L that I can leverage on this build that it doesn't make sense to change platforms. Once I get stuck on a platform, I just keep on building them.

Its not perfect, but its not a disaster like most that I've seen.

I would turn it into something like this for an OR toy.
