    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
My place is about 2.5 hours away from OP. By the time I could get down there today it will be dark, and could make the recovery more dangerous than what is really necessary.

That's why I'm asking if the truck can (reasonably safely) be left over night.

Also, needing to know a bit more about the situation. Distance from where recovery vehicle will need to set up from this truck and how much mud are we talking? Does it need a 2 truck recover in case recovery truck needs an anchor? (although this one looks like there are trees to anchor off of)

Looks like he could possibly put it in reverse and get out of that whole hes dug up with his tires. not sure what around him though. I would air down and use my floor mats as traction pads atleast.

    2wd?

    Like, so many.
He's probably airing down, digging out, and looking for wood to stuff under his tires.

We’ll get his ass out somehow. We do recovery on just about every off-road trip we go on. The best one was the last trip when I rolled my truck. It took some brainstorming to get her back on 4 wheels.
