Oh yeah. The combo of the Gotta-Have-It crowd and the Gotta-Roll-the-Mods-Into-the-96mo-Loan folks will mean that these golden eggs will find a home.

I'm not sure they're Better than the competition. At least with the competition you can get an engine more suited for a truck. Tacoma got slapped with a Camry engine.

If you don’t like the Tacoma or it’s engine just get a different vehicle.
    Troll their forum instead.

Good luck getting almost 18% and $8k off on a Tacoma. They are definitely getting too expensive for what they are.

I was contemplating attempting to upgrade to a newer sport, AC, MT... but I can't justify that for the price change. I'll stick with my 17 for a long while...

The used market is absolutely nuts which is why I purchased new. I paid 1k more for my 2020 TRD OR than a friend who purchased an older used model with 30,000 miles.

I got my 19 OR DCSB 4wd in June for $33.2k msrp was $38k and change. Just picked up my 19 Sport for $37k with a $42.3k msrp both without rebates. But ya with the price increase a loaded TRD ain’t gonna go for $37k anymore.

No premium package option for SR5 which means no dual climate AC :boink:

Same here. Picked up my 2019 premium + tech TRD OR for just a hair over 37k, not including the ski resort season pass they threw in. Just dig in and don't be afraid to haggle with these guys. Walk out if you need to.

You can always just tell them you'll come back at the end of the month to buy it. That usually forces their hand haha

Hate how Toyota doesn't include dual climate in all the TRD models as a standard feature. $38k TRD Sport 4x4 with single climate control o_O

Personally, I am glad that they didn't when I was buying. We've had three other cars with ACC and two of them had dual controls. The one car without dual controls seemed to do the best job keeping things comfortable. On the cars with dual controls, I think we used different settings about one time. I'm thankful that the wife's Forester at least has the switch for dual or not so that both knobs don't have to be moved to get the same settings. She often goes full manual on the settings also, esp in summer.

The Taco is killer with the manual system. I just wish we could manually control the A/C when using the last three defroster positions. I don't alway need dry air, just more of it.

It is good that there are options available for folks that want them. Friends of ours would have committed murder by now without dual controls.

You have dual zones in your Tacoma?

No. It is our first vehicle since 2004 without ACC and / or dual controls. I am 100% happier with the manual controls.

I'm not comfortable in a vehicle without dual climate simply cause everyone feels different. Carrying people in my 08 is a PITA simply because I like my AC full blast while my passengers are freezing

You and I are great examples of why the option of both system should continue to exist.

Yes the prices keep going up.

I got my 2018 sport for 39500 with premium and tech package. I went online recently to see how much the same package taco is, it was around 45000.

Everyone wanted power seats and better headunit soo....

I saved up and waited for the 2020 Tacos. I already knew what I wanted (OR) upon going to dealership. Fully loaded the OR came out to $44k.

They also had a 19 Pro for $43k with $1,500 cash back incentive.

Guess which truck I left with that day?
