Stock everything is fine, you just won't be in the fast group. Assuming you like your fillings.

Eh, I like the simplicity of carrying less.

My dog isn't a fan of a jarring ride regardless of me, so I'd be in that slow group anyway.

I did it stock last year no issues except for practice with a tire plug kit.

You need better shocks, springs and control arms :)

My dog, of course, is a speed daemon, and gets unhappy below about 50.

Mine needs to calm the fuck down before I think about bringing him on any multi-day camping trips. He's just about 11 months old though.

I'll be going, have to find a spare tire tomorrow.. hopefully I can get a 265/75/16 AT/MT tire to fit on the spare tire rim, and I'll carry a 1.25" spacer and the appropriate lugs to attach it... so at least the spacing will match my others..

I also just ordered myself a speedometer correction harness, and a 3TPAM mount from www.expeditionessentials.com

Once they're out of warranty maybe. Or used up. For the time being, I bought the truck as is. If I wanted to tear into it immediately I would have gotten the SR without the additions :D

Mine is a motion baby. Every time we go somewhere it's excitement (dog park, beach, etc) but by the time I leave the driveway she's already snoozing. 40lb Catahoula. If she comes with me she'll probably take the passenger seat for the nights. I'll have to bring the dog towels and all that crap too.

That particular toy always makes me chuckle I want it but our pup would destroy it in minutes. He's already ripped the original red Kong treat toy to tiny pieces. I walked away for 5 minutes and this tennis ball was like this.

HAH! Yeah my girl goes through the soft toys, but she has a few that she likes to play with so she won't destroy them. The pig is one of them.

Hope everyone is good with muddy dogs because my dog is attracted to mud puddles like a magnet, and she'll take other playful dogs in with her :D

That's far from the worst plan for mods and upgrades I've heard.

I'm bringing a dog and a 6 year old boy, I'll shampoo the cab wheni get home to get the mud out.

If I bought the SR, I'd dig in. But, I bought the OR because it all comes from the factory. Why pay an extra 6k for stuff to immediately take off? :D

I have 490 something miles on my truck, cabs already muddy. I had a solid week of it being clean, I knew it wasn't going to last. Hoping to set up a gunner type crate that I can strap in the bed when she's muddy for the drives rather than using the back seat. I have big plans for the back seat area in that truck, just no actual plan. :)

There's a big difference between the OR suspension and aftermarket: king shocks, dirt king control arms, Dakar or Deaver lead pack... Just getting rid of the rubber bushings.in everything is a huge upgrade.

The OR is worth it for the crawl control and locking rear. If I had it to do over that's probably what I'd buy.

I probably won't wheel enough to make sense to buy the OR over the SR, other than the shocks. Probably will never need a locker. I just wanted it, so I got it. :)

I'm a raging moron. I thought this was the GNW of Northern NH - been up there before. I was too dense to read that it was, in fact, in Maine :tinfoilhat:

Still a 5.5 hour 300 mile each way trip, problem is 95 through Maine on Memorial Day weekend, I thought I'd be doing 89 through NH! Which is marginally better. Back on the fence I guess. Got confused when you said Milinocket since I know that's way east of the NH woods :D
