The height of summer isn't the best for inshore due to water temps but even then going up in the rivers and creeks is plenty of fun.

 

Dang. That’s a steal. My wife is taking the kids and leaving to visit family soon. I’ll have the old girl bouncing around the local waterways.

 

We’re going fishing?! Define, soon!

Reds are fun. Used to fish for them a lot in FL.

 

Get him on a big red on top water with a UL set up that shit will have him hooked.

 

I know a great spot for reds.

 

Ive caught ONE fish in SC since I’ve been here I need to catch more! Got quite a few in GA just not SC! My one and only SC fish!

 

Awe that's cute a little baby striped bass (or it appears to be, may be a hybrid also)

Up here at the mouth of the river during spawn season you can catch them in the 40+ LB mark and almost as long as you are tall. Up in NY they get huge.

 

Hybrid I think... least that’s what Mike told me, I’m more accustomed to the walleye and pike up north!

 

Last time I went fishing for Reds we got zero but caught a bunch of bonnet head and reef sharks

Reds would be fun.. I'd love to find a bunch of trout too..

I have to figure out the ways of the samurais and learn to throw a cast net to get the menhaden for bait

 

They aren't that hard Gramps taught me at like 6 I was throwing a 48" net.

More fun on light tackle.

 

I’ve always wanted to go offshore for Marlin and Dolphin. My little boat couldn’t handle that though. I’ve had it almost ten miles offshore and it was sketchy. Rolling waves big enough that you couldn’t see land while in the trough. Surfing waves in a 18’ boat is kinda fun.
