What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I just got her back from the alignment shop. I already had installed 5100s a few years back, but over this past weekend, I finished installing the SPC UCAs That have been sitting on the shelf for about 4 years, replaced the stock coils for OME 885, replaced the stock leaf pack with Dakar Medium Duty, and added Pro Comp 7032 wheels wrapped in BFG KO2 in 275/70/17. I’m liking her new stance! This weekend, I’ll finish up with some plastic trimming to eliminate any more rubbing that I discover throughout the week.

 

Go to the RV section at Wally world and get a heavy duty moisture absorber for $9 to keep the inside nice and dry till you can get a solution. Don't want mold growing

 

Loaded her up with firewood and stretched the airbags out a little bit.

 

I actually installed a SaBellCo lock on it a couple weeks ago! And also forgot mention I did the emergency cord as well though I do need to go back in and get a nicer cord/rope instead of the generic cord used for packaging stuff.

 

Drove to the gun range for some sight-in work.

 

Can you please relay to me how you have any car part sit around for more than an hour? Cause my parts go on RIGHT when I receive them! Awesome vehicle btw!

 

I was dreading the install with that ridiculous long bolt! Then I contemplated/tried selling it for a while, then finally decided to keep and install it after I went with the new wheel/tire setup.

Leaking windshield?

 

I looked at several different vehicles today with seat height adjustments on them. All of them had an arc type of movement to them when adjusting their height. I never knew they moved like that. It actually makes it a little easier for me.

 

Today I designed and built a prototype of a small part that I'm going to offer to Tacoma owners. I actually want to start a company building auto/truck parts. This first little piece will help finance that effort. It's exciting, I've been on disability for years, and have been looking for something I can do for most of that time.
