I don't know man, that ranger is pretty unslightly, I'd rather have the looks than slightly more power. It still wouldn't be enough for me.
Its the same engine my wifes car has in it. Its ok, but really not great. I had a 3.5 EB TT in my raptor and it was ok...still needed 100HP more. Also had the 3.5 EB TT in the explorer sport. I liked that one enough...I should have gotten it tuned for another 50HP.
I like the newer explorer ST... that would be fun. If the bronco only comes with a 4 cylinder TT, I won't get it.

No one uses the manual climate control All that can be done with sync 3 on the screen or by voice one can tell the climate
control what one wants without touching a button. So those cluttered buttons are never used when one can set the climate controls
Through voice or on the Sync screen. The really cool thing is it sets climate control on the remote start for the weather in hot weather turns the AC on. In cold weather, it manages the heating system so remote starters can get into a comfortable vehicle.

Looks are too subjective One man's garbage is another man's treasure and all that jazz. I discount anyone who says they don't like the way it looks. I think the, Tacoma is a good-looking truck. But in my opinion, looks don't Trump all the other niceties the Ford has. I'm not going to wear my trucks. I prefer a good lookin drivetrain over a hood scoop all day long.

So I will wait for the next generation of Tacoma and Ranger and again I will choose the best truck for the money. If you get the base model of the ranger you get the same engine that's in the top line but you would have to use all those buttons to control the heat. I don't by base models of anything.

Your situation should dictate the right tools for the job. If you don't need a truck, sell it, but maybe not for a sporty car, or the next great thing...

I'm 34 and spent my late teens burning money on a 1968 firebird project that I never even got to drive. $30k gone. Next it was motorcycles. 4 new bikes in 3 years. Financed every time and rolled the last one into the next one. By 23 years old, about $34k of motorcycles had passed through my hands. Now I have a mortgage and think what I could do with $64k that I blew on rapidly depreciating commodities. I was always chasing the dragon of the next best thing and could convince myself that I needed it. I built that firebird up so much I couldnt afford to finish it, but I had a beautiful 600 hp 400, custom made 9" and 14 point cage sitting in it collecting dust.

Anyway, Tacos are good tools and hold their value very well. To get your money out of a car, you need to buy smart up front and keep it for a long time, and most of all, realize it is a tool, especially at 20 years old. Whatever kind of vehicle you need, the thing to do is sell your Taco and get something used and free up a ton of capital. You will only ever lose money on anything with wheels, so minimize your losses as you are building the foundation for the rest of your life. If you have the discipline to do that, you will be a millionaire before age 40.

Able? Yes. Willing? No. An hour on a sport bike and said knees no longer want to straighten out properly.

LOL tell me about it. I once took a 2 hour ride in my old sports bike and I will never do that again.
