Oh yeah, probably not a thing on electric ones huh. We have natural gas.

I hate convection stoves with a passion. They’re so bad at their job. One of the coils caught on fire in my dorm last year, and the one in my apartment now barely works.

Well I guess I cleaned the stove top, not the oven

 

fixed me up a big cup of hot cocoa with marshmallows, it seems cold enough out to have some tonight

 

Yeah all electric ovens are is essentially a huge resistor that gets incredibly hot. They scare me a bit now that I understand what an inductor/resistor is and had one burn up before lol.

What are the horns some guys are upgrading to? What’s the difference between them and stock?

 

It’s a plastic “veneer”. Most Chrome nowadays is fake.

 

What have you done

 

Yeah my roommate was cooking bacon and the stove caught on fire. I thought it was the grease so I started throwing flour at it. The coil actually shorted and caught on fire.

 

I think there’s a guy on this thread who sells horns, I don’t remember his name though.
