Cheap TRD Pro Style grill ( Walmart )

I drunkenly bought a chinese ‘pro grill’ on cyber Monday out of my FB feed. It was supposed to come with black letters, but came with red. No answer to any email asking for a return, or black letters.

I later ordered the Tacogarage grill.

I paid $110 for it if any of you with black letters want to try to make it work.

 

I'll give you 4.61 for it....

Last year I purchased a grill on wish.com for $90. my grill arrived but no “Toyota letters” and complained on wish .

They refunded my purchase. We asked the woman where do we ship the grill back to. My wife was told the grill is ours and do what we want with it. 4 days later my letters arrived in little 6x6x6 brown box..

oddly this was all shipped from jersey. I called customer service to repay it. They told me that it was refunded and it was no longer in their que. Again we were told the matter was closed.

The big problem is when after all this I said to my wife ,“I have $90 of my money to use on another Tacoma upgrade since they fully refunded my purchase!” She informed me , “no!” Lol!

Jokes on her. Got my smoked grill lights that need to be installed in my faux grill!

Years ago I bought an office chair from a liquidator on Ebay. It was a great deal, but they shipped me two. I emailed them twice trying to get a return shipping label, but they never gave me one. I suspect whoever made the mistake got my emails, and he probably figured generating a return shipping label and restocking it would only bring attention to his mistake.

So in the end I kept it and I left them positive feedback on the Ebay review. The feedback I left them said: "item was exactly as described, but twice the deal I was expecting"

 

I felt like I had to. I told the lady that refunded us, it’s like buying a new car and the door was missing and she instantly refunded us. when I received the letters I called 3 times trying to repay it . A supervisor called us and said it’s been charged off and to enjoy the product. I felt like a ass. I felt sorry for the person/company who lost their product and money. I guess businesses have that built in but I felt like a tool when the letters arrived.

For all those that talk shit about a pro grill or a fake one..... it seriously makes the truck look 1000 times better. The cheap looking plastic chrome grill was horrible!

Someone could use these letters to make a grille. Buy a billet grille, add letters.

In most cases. But technically the ones that got letters didnt get what they paid for. The ad did not say you would get letters. The ad title was a grill. The description was a grill. The picture was a grill. So technically he didnt get what he paid for.

Entertaining thread that some folks are taking way too seriously for $5.

 

For $5, I would not be upset getting that.
