Order #4120! I've been eyeing this for awhile because the one I have now sucks and moves around. I probably should of asked this before ordering but how well does the slim one hold up off road?

I have one of these and love it. Fav mod so far. Need to pick up some additional mounts for it.

I don't have a blend mount, but I have something similar and I notice that the image is just too shaky from the vibrations. I was hoping to attach my dashcam to this mount.

Guessing no one is running a dashcam with this?

 

The DMM is a great product but I don't think it's suited for holding a dashcam, and that's through no fault of the design. It isn't built to withstand an impact and keep the dashcam pointed where you need it. Maybe I'm mistaken and it can indeed do so just fine, though I suspect the camera would bobble around regardless of the mounting solution. I'd recommend a dedicated mechanism for a dashcam.

 

I'm sure there are ways to work with a dashcam. I'm sure someone else here can chime in.

 

For a dash cam what about the Go Pro mount on the windshield?

 

The newer models dont have the gopro mount. And my windshield is tinted so I don't want to use a suction cup.
