    Not my cup of tea.

Everyone is different with their likes. Your vehicle, your options.

I just like the bad ass and vintage look on Tacoma, but i'm looking for a picture of that on 3rd.. I have exactly the same 2016.

My mind immediately associates this with a six cylinder 2012 Dodge Charger. Nice stance though. Maybe it has a LT conversion in it.

Yeah, it looks too Dodge/Mustang-ish for my taste.

Thought I would hate it. That pic looks ok actually. Screw what TW thinks. If you like it do it. I’m in the Chuck Norris sig camp. Some hate it and criticize some like it. I Iike it so I have it.

Every one is different. Not for me though.

A rear wing would be nice to go with those stripes,
and a fart muffler would set you apart from the Sheeple.

IMHO racing stripes are for vehicles that are fast. Might look ok on a blown 2nd gen X runner or on @Torspd's ride. Or even an LT desert runner. Otherwise it screams poseur.

You could lay it out with painters tape and do a plasti-dip version just to see how you like it. Then move on to vinyl for color/durability. Even that can be removed before trade time.

I agree with others, do what you wish. But you asked opinions............

That one above screams closet Mustang. I'm a fan of stripes as well, but in moderation. As in smaller. Where they complement the scheme of the vehicle, and not focus your attention on their #Memememe selfishness. Lol.

Just a gen2 TRD shift knob so far. Anxiously awaiting ovTune 1.05 with handheld tuner!
Ive always called them Cobra stripes and yes I love them as I love the AC-Shelby 427 Cobra. Unfortunately with a 0-60 time of sometime tomorrow with the most ridiculous acceleration/ gearing habits in the business... no. They do not belong on a Tacoma... respectfully.

Stripes need to have the right color combination; not just on tacos, but on everything. There are some classic pairings: silver on blue, white on red, charcoal on silver, etc. Personally, I think the one you posted looks good. As everyone else has said, it all comes down to personal taste. Don't worry to much about what others think.

That being said, I think putting a full blown Gulf livery on your truck may be a bit much. :)
