Just installed a new set eyes on the taco and am looking for a good looking black mesh grille that will complement the lights. I have noticed that several fellow taco owners are sporting these mesh grilles......which ones are the best and look sick. And where can I look for them online.

I am looking at doing this same grill but my question is how do you open your hood with the set up? I cant see how I could reach inside there.

    Which grille?

You can reach above the grille when you release the hood, there is still enough room to slide your fingers in between to release the latch.

Yeah...Between the upper edge of the grille surround and the lower lip of the hood. Same way I open my hood with my billet or back when I had to the stock grill.

Grille craft. I think there is a group buy starting around here some where...

Joe, your picture taking abilities make me nauseous... Nice work! And either go with the Grillecraft or fab up your own, that's what I did!

Grillcraft upper and lower~ Provides much better protection than stock from road debris. And I like the looks:)

I've never gone through my grill to open my hood. Am I doing it wrong?

    Thanks for the comments guys!

install was extremely easy. just pop out the old grill, saw out the insert, then screw in the grillcraft. took about half an hour or so.

TRD emblem was bought off ebay for about $10 shipped.

Yeah.. the best bet is when you pull your oem grill off tape up the exposed areas and rattle can the rest black.. Just tape it all up enough to prevent overspray if your doing it outside.

Do some searches for Grillcraft installs and you'll see some good write-ups.
