Reports are this happened before Cade was officially enrolled at UGA so why bring up a law suit years later??

It happened two years ago and was filed in December. Torts and negligence suits in Georgia generally have a two year statute of limitations, so a lot of suits get filed right before that deadline to let as much damages (medical bills, rehab, pain and suffering) accumulate and to allow plenty of time for experts and attorneys to evaluate the case before filing.

But agreed, he will probably try and use it. Why wouldn't he, with the precedent the NCAA has set.

Remind me how Fields did something like this... wasn't it something to do with him claiming that UGA students were being racist towards him at a baseball game?? How does the NCAA let things like this go on? Subjectivity?

I can see Kirby getting a grad transfer in at QB. Several QBs in the portal or a "free agent."

Has Ben decided on what he is doing next year? Thought he was a junior and could make the decision to move on. Also he is considered academically disqualified and was not able to play in the bowl game.

 

I’d like to see D’Eriq king. It looks like the Wake QB and the university are showing mutual interest, though...

Hey @Misplaced Nebraskan what's up with the WR Miles Jones? Apparently he's transferring to the Vols, too

 

Injury and surgery caused redshirt first year. Next year he only saw 21 snaps total. Got buried in the depth chart for the duck-R position. Hybrid WR/RB position. Guess he sees the writing on the wall. He probably thought he'd get another P5 scholly but wound up walking on with Tennessee vice going JuCo. Said he wanted to be closer to home too which is Florida. I thought he was a good steal originally. Small kid that would excel in slot or on sweep plays. He should be a contributor if he gets a waiver. He'll probably get on scholarship quick if he's healthy.

 

Nice. Vols lost three starters this year so competition never hurts I suppose
