I get that! I compromised and run a cover under my rack. I can have a little bit of dry space as well as run the setup i want.

 

I tried it, don't like sleeping in the shape of a banana and its super hard to go piss in the middle of the night

 

Oh for sure, its all about what works for you. Id run a cover again if my fridge would fit under it. But it wont lol.

 

hahaha! I can't sleep on my back so hammocks are out for me..

i couldn't before the new mattress and pillow, now I can.

supposedly more healthy to sleep on back.

 

I asked my doctor that analyzed my back, and he said falling asleep on your back doesn't matter. If your body needs to move into a position during sleep, it will. He said the best thing is to just fall asleep however you can.

This was only in consideration for back issues though, fyi, because I had always heard sleeping on your back was better for it. I have literally lay for like 3 hours on my back not able to sleep, roll over and I'm out in a minute.

 

i don't look forward to getting old. having to keep a piss bottle beside where I sleep because I'm not gonna get up to drain it. lol

i think it was supposed to be a natural alignment ordeal as well as airway passages.

I agree though, if it doesn't work for you it doesn't work.

 

Its alot easier than getting out of the tent half asleep in the middle of the night. Trust me ive done it lol.

 

yeah I mean there are tons of studies out there that say sleeping on your side is best for your spine support, I take suggestions to that stuff with a grain of salt lol.

 

I'm good
I have a foam pad under me, completely flat, no bugs, no wet covers or pillow from the humidity, power for my phone, lights, laptop, fans and electric blanket if needed. If it storms I don't worry about lightning or a limb falling on me. And the ladies like it much better

 

I’ve got a memory foam 3 inch think topper on top of the mattress. I swear it’s almost more comfortable than my bed lol

 

Lol I get up and because I have an awning even if its raining I don't get wet or have to smell piss because I pissed under my hammock
