I don't think you can really go wrong with Kings or Fox. The OME BP-51 looks really good to me as well, and I've been leaning that way based on them being a little less expensive than Kings.

But, as you said, I'll probably just buy something one day when I get in the mood.

i am getting near desparate to get something better on my rig
because of the bad roads they cannot seem to maintain here for safety if anything else ... major trafficway on I-80 just across from western Iowa border
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/nebraska-where-you-at.176617/page-65#post-22113913

Council Bluffs used to be in quite the similar condition, but they are almost finished redoing the whole stretch through town and around
Even Missouri has a very nice & smooth safe road on I-29 south of the Iowa border to KC

About to pay $175 for training material for my next certification. Then $1200ish for the exam. Luckily the company I work for will pay for the exam if I pass it. Still... Such a racket.

Edit: *$600 for the exam this time. If I want to get the concentration for the certification it's another exam and another $600.

    Which exam?

I hate certification tests. It’s more about memorization than knowing anything. There’s been ones I’ve failed 3+ times because the test is on outdated info or it’s the “pick the best answer” bs where you could argue any one of them is correct or incorrect

About the worst one. CISSP. I've used a lot of the free material up to this point but I'm going to buy the Thor Teaches with Boson practice tests and give myself a 3 month window.

Sub'd because the title of the thread is funny, and one of my best friends from high school now lives in Marion, Iowa!

My dad was in the Navy for 25 years and move a lot, including three moves where we drove across country. I do believe we drove through Iowa while moving from Pennsylvania to California in the summer of 1996

my current in-use avatar is a glimpse from my side mirror of what the lush green weeds of western Iowa look like in the early summer from the shoulder of I-80
they should be covered with snow this time of year but so far is a NO GO!

Definitely the suburbs and certain parts of downtown; Allentown in general was on a steady decline for decades, but now it's starting to bounce back and become gentrified...
